The RAMD Date Palm Congress 2026 announces the participation of Raed Shaheen, agricultural engineer and Regional Director at ARD (Unifert), a company specialized in fertilizers and crop protection products.

A career built on agronomic performance

An expert in pesticides and fertilizers, Raed Shaheen brings extensive agribusiness experience and recognized crop protection expertise. He leads strategic initiatives in portfolio optimization, sustainable growth and market expansion across the Middle East and emerging regions.

His approach emphasizes innovation and farmer-focused solutions, within an integrated crop management framework.

Nutrition and protection: two decisive levers for palm groves

For date producers, fertilization and crop protection directly shape yield, fruit size and production regularity. These topics meet central concerns of the Moroccan sector: input management, pest pressure and the growing requirements of export markets.

What this session will bring to participants

  • insight into integrated management strategies applicable to the date palm;
  • field feedback drawn from several regional agricultural markets;
  • direct exchanges with an industry player in plant nutrition.

See you on October 1, 2026 in Errachidia
